Livelihood

Livelihood

The biggest problem in tribal areas is employment. Most of the families in these areas migrate to unknown cities in search of employment. In these unknown cities, tribal families face all kinds of exploitation. Many times they are used as bonded labourers. When the family migrates, children have to leave school. Due to which children’s education is affected. Bhumi Foundation runs employment-oriented projects to provide local employment to the families migrating from tribal areas, in which it connects them with means of livelihood by providing them tailoring, weaving, organic farming, traditional work and vocational training. So that their standard of living can become better.
